I’m not one for making resolutions but with 2017s first quarter officially over (and boy oh boy did it fly!) I thought it might be fun to hold ourselves a little accountable for the things we hopped to achieve for the year so far.
Now I made no official resolutions but I do have a few long term/ roll over goals I like to try and maintain. Here are my top 5 and my progress updates. *figits slightly, suddenly feeling like parents evening at school*
#1 BUDGET ok so it’s fair to say this isn’t going exactly to plan but it is still going! I’m in control and working out the kinks.
Level of hope for end of year success: high.
#2 FITNESS … so far failing miserably. My new gym hasn’t opened yet and I’ve virtually done nothing besides walking more and the odd day cycling to work to compensate.
Level of hope for end of year success: medium.
#3 HEALTHY LIFESTYLE Borderline-fail. I have no excuses. I just love chocolate, hot wings and creme cakes!
Level of hope for end of year success: fair.
#4 MAKE TIME FOR ME so far I’m winning on this one. I’ve booked a little weekend away with one of my besties. No kids. No partners. Just me, her and copious amounts of wine. I’ll post more about this in another post.
Level of hope for end of year success: High
#5 LEARN SOMETHING NEW So I started learning to code online. I don’t do it regularly but I am getting it. Hope to also pick up my guitar again and maybe try something of piste… watch this space.
Level of hope for end of year success: medium
Well that’s my update. How are you getting on? Let’s talk about it in the comments.
