Book review: Come as you are

Come as you are

By Emily Nagoski Ph.D

Book synopsis : An essential exploration of women’s sexuality that will radically transform your sex life into one filled with confidence and joy.

About the book: Come as You Are reveals the true story behind female sexuality, uncovering the little-known science of what makes us tick and, more importantly, how and why.

Why I liked it: In the book, the author – Dr. Emily Nagoski busts many of the common myths about sex that are making women and even some men feel inadequate in the bedroom. She even goes as far as to answer the most dreaded question “am I normal?” (The answer is yes btw)

The book was recommended to me by a friend, who it was recommended to her by her husband. I think it was a pretty profound read for all of us it makes you think about yours (and others) sexuality and even relationships styles quite differently. As with anything I guess knowledge is power but I can certainly say after reading this book, ignorance is certainly not bliss.

I give this book a 5/5 and would recommend to everyone. Male and female alike.
