Hallmark movies why do you melt me so?

**Can I just thank the internet for my cover image… also if anyone wants to buy those socks for me I’d be super appreciative!**

Hey Adventurers,

I wanted to take a moment to shout out to Hallmark. They literally sponsor my winter season. (ok, not literally because they are yet to offer me affiliation…grrr)

Is there anything better than a good rom-com or holiday chick-flick as brought to you by Hallmark?? Nope… didn’t think so.

Hallmark 2

So exciting!

I am such a sap for Hallmark movies…they’re so cheesy and predictable and let’s face it unrealistic but you have to admit; you wish they were a reflection of real life. That guy meets girl, falls in love story or that girl strikes it out on her own and finds everlasting romance fantasy (which usually I hate in real life but for some reason love in movies or books) I could (and have) watched these movies for hours, back to back just for a feel-good high.

Ok, confession- I started my Hallmark binge-fest a little early this year… I’ve watched quite a few in the month of October (Thanks Netflix!)  but so far have avoided any Christmas ones. UNTIL NOW!

I have a full line up of movies to watch and no doubt many more that I’ll stumble across along the way…

Also, I’m liking the diversity that is coming through in these movies now (Shoutout to Tamera Mowry-Housley!) I’m here for it guys, representation matters. People of colour love rom-coms too!

There is so much to love about these movies, the decor ideas, the fashion ideas…the food ideas. Gosh, I’m just in my element with it all!

Definitely first on my list is:

A Christmas Miracle

Ever-optimistic single mom Emma Sanderson is looking for a Christmas miracle to write about for the lifestyle magazine at which she has landed a temporary job. While following her lead on the story, Emma discovers unexpected romance with a supportive colleague and takes it upon herself to bring about a Christmas miracle for a lonely street musician. Starring: Tamera Mowry-Housley, Brooks Darnell and Barry Bostwick.

Frankly, I just cannot wait!

Do you guys love Hallmark movies? Let me know in the comments.

Put the kettle on Adventurers…its time to get cosy!
